The Site:
As someone who has been passionate about games my entire life, I think that review outlets are some of the most important pillars in the community as far as public opinion on various titles goes. As years have gone on, I feel as if a lot of the journalistic integrity in these communities has been diminishing and instead of going and complaining on the internet, I've taken it upon myself to contribute in a way that I believe is meaningful.
Hydroxide.me is my passion project. There are no corporate sponsors (or sponsors of any variety at the moment) I pay for the site entirely out of my own pocket. I also have a firm stance on keeping everything published on this site genuine, meaning all writing, designs, or creative works of any kind are produced by humans, not AI. Not now, not ever.
While I simply cannot compete with large publishers in terms of scale, I will do everything I can to provide honest reviews and other content without the conflict of interest. I will always be transparent with the way this site will be operated.

Hi - I'm Darryl, the first author & primary owner of hydroxide.me. I'm currently a college student in addition to doing flight training. Outside of writing about games, I'm also very invested in NHL hockey (Go Leafs). On this site, I mostly write about and review various indie games, as well as JRPG & puzzle games.

Hello! I'm Bryan, besides writing sports articles and helping with game reviews here, I spend most of my time learning new technologies, listening to music and traveling when I can. I also run my own TCG business (@bryanscardworld) everywhere.
